Our practice is located in Washington, NJ (part of Warren County). We moved into a larger building in October 2023 and love the new space! Our area has a bit of everything! We are near rural farmland but just minutes from stores as well. We are about 15 minutes from Easton, PA, and Lafayette College, with many great areas to eat and countless different ethnic foods. We are minutes away from many major highways and about a little over an hour to NYC, Philadelphia, and the Jersey Shore.

Sterilization Technician

Easton, PA, and Lafayette College are about 15 minutes away and offer a wide range of restaurants and cultural experiences.

—DESCRIPTION—
We are seeking a full-time sterilization technician who will be in charge of cleaning and sterilizing dental equipment, supplies, and other instruments. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering sterile supplies and retrieving contaminated supplies, preparing autoclaved instruments for trays for examinations, surgeries, and procedures, as well as managing inventory.

To be a successful sterilization technician, you should demonstrate good critical thinking and judgment, and great attention to detail. To provide all back office with assistance in all procedures, make sure patients are treated with a “wow” experience every time, maintaining sterilization zone to optimal levels of OSHA.

—DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES—
- Cleaning supplies and removing waste, as well as operating decontamination equipment
- Packing and preparing decontamination equipment
- Monitoring sterilized equipment
- Reporting any issues regarding the sterilized equipment and testing it before use-
- Delivering and compiling all necessary equipment for surgeries, medical procedures, examinations, and
medical carts
- Maintaining records of sterilized tools, equipment, and supply maintenance, and sterilization procedures
- Managing and maintaining inventory, checking expiration dates, and reordering supplies
- Ensuring all tools and instruments are properly cleaned

—COMPENSATION—
$16.00 - $18.00 hour

—REQUIREMENTS—
- A high school diploma or GED
- Certificate in sterile processing and distribution (preferred but not required)
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Great attention to detail
- Good critical thinking and judgment
- Ability to handle sensitive equipment
- Strong vigilance and meticulous care
- Proof of up-to-date immunizations
- Ability to work hard and take direction effectively

We are an incredible private practice that is growing and growing quickly. We need an Associate who can help run an office, perform exceptional dentistry, and add value to our patients. Specialty dentistry is a plus for this associate along with being able to work independently. We want the best for our patients.

We are a referral-based practice with PPO insurance accepted. We do great dentistry and our patients reward us with their referrals of friends, family, and coworkers. We are currently looking for an associate to start 2-3 days a week, and we will fill this person up with patients almost immediately. The senior doctor is booked out for over 2 months and needs to get patients seen quickly.
